Sidecar Racing International’s brand new for 2022 Northern Sidecar Cup series, will feature two of Continental Europe’s top roads courses, the Hengelo based Varsselring and Circuit De Chimay.
Coinciding with the season opening IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) round, the Varsselring hosts the second round (29th April-1st May) of the aforementioned Northern Cup series.
Whilst Circuit De Chimay, plays host to the final series round, with competitive action at Belgium’s most famous active roads venue planned to get underway on the 23rd July.
In between three wheeling action at Hengelo and Chimay, Sidecar Racing International have pencilled in meets at Croix En Ternois (16th-17th April) and the iconic Assen circuit (27th-29th May).
Positive news for Sidecar exponents across Europe, the Northern Cup will hopefully increase the popularity of one of motorsport’s most unique disciplines.
